Jane Franklin

Jane is a policy analyst and political sociologist, whose work has focused on critical engagement with the politics of community, social capital, third way, and risk society. More widely, her research interests include the dynamic between theory, policy and practice; late modernity and social change; equality and social justice in contemporary societies; and feminist theory and politics. She has worked at the Institute for Public Policy Research (1989-1997); London South Bank University (1997- 2007), and The Young Foundation (2007-2008).
