Joe joined nef in May 2011 and is working in the Social Policy programme, researching the effect of the public spending cuts on individuals and communities in London and Birmingham and exploring strategies for how these can be mitigated. He is also supporting the development of the Co-production Practitioners Network.
Before joining nef, Joe worked for a local government innovation consultancy and interned at the Young Foundation. He has research experience in France and Tanzania, and holds first class degrees in Geography and Social Development from UCL and the Development Planning Unit (UCL).
