Julia joined nef in October 2009. She is also working on a number of practical projects including one that maps the effects of the current spending cuts, and leading on a project to understand how co-production can transform outcomes and impact on the costs of Personalised services. She has worked with NESTA co-ordinating a network of co-production practitioners, and co-authored two recent co-production reports, ‘Public Services Inside Out’ and ‘Right Here, Right Now’.
Prior to nef Julia worked for a large consultancy firm, specialising in public sector consulting and change management. She has also worked in the media, and within local government. She holds a first class degree in History from the University of Bristol, and a Masters in International Politics from SOAS.
Julia is also is a school governor in Hackney.
