This course builds on simplified model introduced in the 2-day SROI training to provide participants with guidance on how to model more complex scenarios. The course will look at how your SROI model can capture distance travelled outcomes data and proxies, benefit periods of different duration and starting points, and divergent theories of change among your beneficiary groups. Refining measures of impact (deadweight, attribution and displacement) will also be addressed.
The course will be delivered by Natalie Nicholles and Olivier Vardakoulias. Natalie is a senior consultant with nef consulting and has developed complex SROI models for clients ranging from the Prince’s Trust to Care International. Olivier is an economist with extensive modelling experience. He was recently involved in the worldwide TEEB (The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity) project.
Please note that the course assumes working knowledge of SROI. Participants should have previously attended SROI training, but it is not a requirement to have completed an SROI.
