new global climate framework

env5.JPG

Rich and poor countries are consuming the world's resources at vastly different rates. The current rate of consumption in rich countries is not sustainable, never mind if we imagine that poor countries might eventually get an equal footing.  New energy forms and a new path forward are essential to begin to address the imbalance in world consumption and make all of our lifestyles sustainable.

nef's aim is to develop a unique international movement for change accommodating the needs of poor countries while working within the constraints of the global atmosphere to absorb greenhouse gas emissions.
