democs: formats and topics
There are a now Democs kits on a wide range of issues:
Democs for adults have 40, small, print only, information and issue cards per subject. These Democs kits were developed through a grant with the Wellcome Trust.
Democs for schools have a maximum of 24 large, illustrated information and issue cards each. The Democs kits were developed specifically for use in schools and with young people with a grant from DTI Sciencewise.
Both types of Democs kit are downloadable from this website, and on CD ROM.
