environment

Environmental and social problems are too often discussed separately. nef integrates environmental sustainability and social justice in our work. We look at the impact of climate change on global poverty reduction and at the impact of rich country lifestyles. Our local works campaign seeks to create healthy local communities which increase people’s well-being and environmental sustainability.

climate change
Climate catalyst at nef is a programme of action research and advocacy that proposes an alternative international system for addressing climate change
local works
To fight against the emergence of Ghost Town Britain, nef has launched local works - a campaign to support the Local Communities Sustainability Bill.
well-being
nef's well-being programme builds on our practical work on indicators. We are building a model and tools which will help policy makers practically consider and influence wellbeing
