"BizFizz was just what I needed. The Coach knew who to get in touch with and put us in for a grant. I didn't know what I needed to do to start a business."
Mick Eland, Tuxford. BizFizz in Action

Removing the barriers that stand in their way is what BizFizz is all about

BizFizz, a joint project between nef and the Civic Trust, is designed to stimulate economic regeneration from within communities by providing free and flexible support to local entrepreneurs which actively draws upon local expertise and knowledge.

We believe that in all communities – no matter how disadvantaged – there are people with the passion and drive to create new enterprises, and existing businesses with the potential to grow and thrive.

BizFizz places a business coach in the heart of the community who offers free confidential business support to anyone who needs it.  Our approach is uncover people’s passions and then remove the barriers to them achieving success.  Within reason, our coaches can do whatever it takes to help the entrepreneur succeed.

In each community the coach is supported by a panel of well-connected and experienced people from the community and wider area who unblock problems, provide key information and contacts. The ability to unleash local expertise and resources is the main difference between BizFizz and other business support.

BizFizz is currently working in 10 communities across England.
