The UK housing system is not fit for purpose. Prices have spiralled out of control, rising far beyond average annual earnings, with millions in need of social housing. Britain’s housing stock also lags far behind other EU states in terms of energy efficiency. NEF's work aims to develop policy solutions that are capable of creating a housing system that meets the demands of 21st Century Britain.
