We have built and coordinated a wide network of practitioners who are engaged in co-production across a range of sectors, as part of our aim to make co-production the presumptive approach for designing and delivering services. We have established an online forum for frontline practitioners to discuss their work, the approach they take, and the challenges they face. It is a chance to see how co-production transcends service divides, to learn from the tools and models other practitioners work with, and to contribute to the knowledge and discussions of the network. With initial support from NESTA, the network has grown rapidly to over 400 people. Members have identified needs for learning support and new resources, including ways of developing co-production in practice, changing professional practice and evaluation. It is free to join and is actively facilitated by its members for its members.
We are now actively seeking funds to continue building the network and further meeting members’ requirements.
