In 2011, nef celebrates 25 years of research and advocacy in new economic thinking. We've been at the forefront of policy research over a broad range of topics, from the big challenges of climate change and the financial crisis, to human-scale approaches to local democracy, high street renewal and devolved public services. And we've changed the way that people measure and evaluate policies with our work on well-being, ecological debt and Social Return on Investment.
