nef aims to increase individual and social well-being and to enable citizens to create their own futures and collective solutions. We are underpinning these goals with our local works campaign, and new ways of measuring progress, alongside practical initiatives which reconnect people, like timebanks.

We particularly focus on participation and democracy and on innovative approaches to the relationship between the individual and the state through our people in public services programme.
